When Brü Brothers came to me with their vision for a new CBD-infused coffee brand, the challenge was to create a product range that would make an immediate impact in a crowded market. The brand was preparing to launch and needed a unique identity that resonated with young, health-conscious consumers. This meant reimagining every aspect of the brand—from naming the coffee blends to designing distinctive, fresh packaging. The goal was to craft a coffee experience that blended modernity with playfulness, making it stand out on the shelves while appealing to the target audience of primarily 20-40 year-old Londoners.
One of the key aspects of this project was renaming and reshaping the product line. We focused on infusing each blend with clever wordplay, drawing from both cannabis and coffee culture. With names like “Cannacino Gelato“ for a creamy espresso blend and “Java Joint“ for a smooth, CBD-infused latte, the playful language set the tone for a fun, yet sophisticated coffee experience. These names not only made the products memorable but also helped to distinguish Brü Brothers from competitors, giving the brand a unique personality that would resonate with a modern audience.
The packaging design was just as important in conveying Brü Brothers’ fresh identity. The concept was simple yet bold, using striking colour combinations to signify each unique blend while maintaining a clean and modern look. Each product featured a distinct colour scheme, reflecting the specific flavour and CBD infusion of the coffee. The typography was minimal and sleek, ensuring the product was eye-catching yet sophisticated. This approach helped create a cohesive and memorable brand identity, setting Brü Brothers apart as they prepared to enter the market with a range that was not only visually appealing but also aligned with their target customers’ values and lifestyle.
